It is no denying the fact that the role of private sector in education in general and in school education in particular is growing a tremendous pace. It is the quality of education that distinguishes one school from the other. Joshi Convent School, Rupana is a further step undertaken in the year of 2000-01 by the founding father and real source of inspection for the management, staff and children of rural & urban mixed agriculture based families of the cotton belt of the state of Punjab.

In our society we come across people who only think of themselves. But there ate a few who devote their whole life for the social cause. One personality among them a better founder father who had dreamt of serving the society by providing them a better educational institution. The good school stems from community needs as an integral part of the society. It is made by, made for and made of those it would serve.

Sh. Kulwant Joshi, who expired on 27th feb. 2002 in an unfateful accident. The management as a gesture to be departed soul and in appreciation for his working and guidance to the institution renamea the institution as ‘Kulwant Joshi Memorial Regional Convent School’, so as to keep the lamp of hope growing. The children are the growing small trees on the mountain which takes what ever the weather brings. If they have any choice at all, it is in putting down roots as deeply as possible and this is the aim of this Institution with motto “Innovation for Target”.

The establishment is to give close personal attention, serious and sincere care, civilized education and uplift of our children in the new millennium, as per need of the hour.

Provision for proper physical grooming of children with adequate sports facilities & physical instructor has been made. The school is away from polluted, busy & noisy environment away from the madding crown. A regular interaction between parents & teachers is kept so as to improve the classroom teaching knowledge about home atmosphere and parents enables the teachers to handle the children effectively. This institutions building has been constructed under the able guidance of highly educated engineers, architects, educationists and teachers and especial care has been given for providing better sanitary health facilities.
